Our very first nourishing face mask is a solution to unevenly tanned, weathered and irritated skin that is exposed to the harsh sun and outdoor elements.

The Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask is made from a special batch of medicated mung beans. The mung beans have been pre-soaked in a medicinal decoction of a special Ayurvedc herb, Majishtha, before drying and processing. This pre-process takes us between 3 – 5 days before production, making the Krya calming after sun face mask one of the trickiest and labor intensive products manufactured by us.

Manjishta is revered in Ayurveda for being a blood cleansing and rejuvenating herb, and regular use clears up and evens out complexion. It also helps to soothe irritated and dull skin.

Apart from Manjistha, the Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask contains herbs like Indian Liquorice and Rosemary which help replenish moisture and combat sun damage to skin.

The Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask is made completely from a carefully researched formulation inspired by Indian traiditional medicine. All of Krya’s products use only forest collected or organically grown grains, lentils and herbs, and contain no synthetics.

A common synthetic chemical used in de-pigmenting and blemish removing products is hydroquinone. This is a common synthetic skin lightener, but in doing so it can have many harmful effects on your skin – It permanently alters your pigment while weakening elastin and collagen in your blemished area – which weakens your skin’s integral structure and affects how toned and firm your skin looks. It also tends to trigger contact dermatitis and allergic reactions with regular use.

The Krya Calming After-Sun Face Mask is a non-foaming, soap-free, SLS-free, SLeS-free, Paraben-free, Phthlate-free, synthetic colours and fragrance free, PEG-free , hydroquinone-free, petroleum free product.

How to Use:

Make a thick paste with 1- 1.5 tablespoons of the powder mixed in cool water or coconut milk or pure almond oil, and mix the product well without any lumps. Apply as a thick mask on cleansed skin on the face and the neck, avoiding the delicate eye area. (We recommend using any of Krya’s face wash range to ensure gentle and effective cleansing before applying this mask).

Rinse off the mask after 15 – 20 minutes with cool water, when it is still moist – do not allow to dry out completely on skin. Pat dry with a soft towel.

Repeat once a week for best results.

I have used this product only once. Results are amazing. Skin is refreshed. There is a clean feeling in my face, without the stretchy and dry tautness I’ve experienced with other face masks. I’ve become a krya-ite. 🙂

Sheer joy for skin

I read about your sun mask and acne face wash post. Yes, i am quite sensitive to sun and have moderate sun spots. I decided to go out and try it.

Now!! I love the products. Its about 3weeks now and i feel the change. No it hasn’t made me fairer. It has made my skin softer and cleaner. My son loves to touch my face so much now.

I wasn’t sure it was your products so i tried my old face wash a couple of times in between and difference is obvious. Your products truly work well. Its sheer joy for my skin. Thanks a ton and i really bow to your efforts. Looking forward to more
